Mission Statement

Last night for FHE Jason decided that our Family should have a mission statement. So tonight I typed it up (alot nicer than this) and will frame it and place it on our wall with our family photos! I am really happy that we did this! Because now we both know that what we put into this is not just a bunch of talk we are totally for real! I love this idea!

The Mair Family Mission:
We the family of Jason L & Margaret Ann Mair declare this to be our Eternal & United Mission
Our family is one that is Eternal, built upon the foundation tenets of Kindness, Patience, & Gentleness. We share an unfeigned belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to continually build upon the foundation of its principles.
********
Within the walls of our dedicated home, love, understanding, selflessness shall pervade. The home is a place of refuge from worldly cares and vices. Open arms wait to lift all that enter, from cares, worries, and burdens. Laughter of bygone memories should continue to echo through it’s hallowed halls, and warmth of the next shall always be felt.
********
Our lives shall be dedicated to the advancement of each other and our Eternal Family as a whole. As such, these goals reflect this ideal, they are:
1) Read the scriptures & pray daily
2) Have FHE every week
3) Go to every church meeting, every week
4) Pay a full tithe & offering
5) Go on a date once a week
6) Think positive in ALL situations
7) Be more mindful of spending & our budget
8) Be more mindful of each other
9) Express ourselves more in actions than in words
10) Love life, smile at the little things
And through this we hope in the Eternal Family.
